The dates for the 2012 Breeders’ Cup have been released and the meeting will take place at Santa Anita Park in California.

The 2012 Breeders’ Cup will take place between November 2nd and 3rd and it will be the sixth time the course has staged the world championships.

Breeders’ Cup officials said the decision “followed a lengthy review process by the Breeders’ Cup Host Site Selection Committee,” and Santa Anita will stage the event over the likes of Belmont Park and this year’s hosts, Churchill Downs.
